The focus of our Annual Drive this year is The Sports Field Play Space, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open after Spring Break (2025)!
Covered Outdoor Court: Includes a full-sized basketball court with six hoops or a full-sized volleyball court, suitable for P.E., sports teams, and recreational play.
Playground: Replaces pea gravel with a safe and durable poured-in-place (PIP) rubber surfacing.
All-Weather Field: Multi-purpose field with artificial turf.
Thanks to your support, as of September 2024, we have already raised nearly $1 million toward our $3.3 million goal for the field.

The annual drive proceeds will also go towards:
Phase 1 and 2 Buildings: Help alleviate the remaining cost of the new Junior and Senior school buildings. The balance remaining for these amazing buildings costs WRCA almost $1.7 million a year in principal and interest payments.
Tuition Relief: The Annual Drive also supports families that are struggling financially. Consider sharing your blessings to help families in our community dealing with financial hardship keep their children in our school.
All donations of $50 or above qualify for a donation tax receipt.

In addition to the Annual Drive, each year we host fundraising events such as the WRCA Gala and the WRCA Golf Tournament.
The proceeds from these fundraising events help support the financial needs of the school where needed. In addition, the golf tournament helps support athletics initiatives and expenses.

Gifts of Securities
Donate publicly traded securities (shares or mutual funds) directly to WRCA and pay no capital gains tax on the gains realized while receiving a full charitable tax receipt.
How it Works:
1. Indicate “White Rock Christian Academy Society” as the charity you wish to donate your securities to through a charity foundation registered with the CRA or your local financial institution.
2. Confirm your donation with the development office at WRCA.
3. An acknowledgement will be sent to you describing your gift, receipt date, and value for your tax records.
Deferred Gifts
Life insurance and bequests (a direction in your will for money, assets, or a portion of your estate) may be designated to WRCA.
Matching Gifts
Some companies match their employees’ gifts. Donors simply need to contact their Human Resources offices for the appropriate forms and forward them with their gifts to WRCA for completion.
Please note that all donations to WRCA are deemed to be unrestricted and able to be used to further the general charitable purposes of the Society.
